How to get electricity back to room when flipping breaker doesn’t work?

Kait asked: I was flipping switches on the wall to get the outlet in the living room to work, and all the electricity in the room went off. We tried flipping the breaker, but that didn’t fix it, either. Any other suggestions?
Just checked for GFCI receptacle and didn’t find anything.
